How long will it take for my order to be produced?
Typically your order will ship to you within 2-4 weeks once you approve your proofs. This may vary depending on the complexity of your design. If your order is time sensitive please advise us of your deadline in the notes field at checkout.
Will I be able to view a proof?
Yes. Once your order is received we will create a proof for you to review within 5 business days and send to you via the email address you provide at checkout. You must sign off on a proof prior to printing for every part of your order every time you order.
What if I need to make a change to the proof I receive?
You will receive up to three complimentary proofs for each portion of your order. So, please feel free to make changes when necessary.
Can I select the fonts I’d like to use on my order?
Yes. We have a wide selection of fonts that can be viewed by clicking on the link below.
Please note, color on monitor may vary from actual printed ink color.
If you have specific color needs, please contact us to speak with a designer about color matching samples.
What method will be used to print my order?
All orders will be printed using the flat offset printing method. Please contact us for a custom quote for thermography or engraving.
Can I have my order printed in a metallic ink such as gold, silver, copper, etc.?
Currently we print using the offset method and do not offer metallic ink as one of our normal C’est La Vie Stationery Ink Colors. Please contact us for a custom quote for thermography or engraving which can be printed in metallic ink.
Can I add hand calligraphy to my order?
We do have a hand calligraphy artist on staff. You can add this option on at checkout for $1.75 for a single envelope or $2.00 for an inner and outer envelope. Please view our calligraphy samples by clicking on this link below.
Once we receive your order, someone will contact you for your guest list for the calligraphy. All guest lists must be formatted in excel with separate columns for each of the following headings 1.) Outer Envelope 2.) Inner Envelope 3.) Street Address 4.) Apartment # / Suite # 5.) City 6.) State 7.) Zip Code
Can I simply have my guest list printed on the envelopes?
We do offer this service for a flat $25.00 fee per 100 single envelopes. Please add this option onto your order at checkout.
Once we receive your order, someone will contact you for your guest list for the envelope printing. Can I have a return address printed on the back of the envelopes?
Yes, we will print your return address on the back flap of your envelopes for a flat fee of $25.00 per 250 envelopes. Please add this option onto your order at checkout.
Can I order envelopes in a color other than white or ivory?
Yes. Please contact us to find out the cost for adding a color envelope for a particular design.
Can I order extra envelopes?
Sure. We sell additional envelopes in multiples of ten (10). Please contact us for the exact cost for the envelope that corresponds to your selected invitation.
Is it necessary to have an inner and outer envelope for a wedding invitation?
It is customary to include an inner and outer envelope for a wedding invitation. However, this is completely your decision. Please contact us to receive a quote for one of our wedding invitation designs with a single envelope only.
Can I use one of your wedding invitations for a save-the-date or non-wedding related event?
Absolutely! It may not be necessary for an inner and outer envelope in this case so please contact us to receive a quote for one of our wedding invitation designs with a single envelope only.
What is the minimum order?
You are welcome to order any quantity that suits your needs.
Are there any special instructions for mailing my invitations?
We recommend that all of our stationery products be hand cancelled by your post office to ensure more delicate care.
Will I need to add extra postage?
Please consult your local post office for exact postage once you receive your order.
What is the average cost of a custom designed invitation?
Your C’est La Vie Stationery Designer will discuss your budget parameters at the consultation. We will make every effort to stay within all your specifications including budget.
A general range for custom invitations is anywhere from $3.50 to over $20.00. We strive to fit within most budgets.
What if I want to modify the custom designed prototypes I receive from the designer?
Our goal is for you to be 100% satisfied with your custom stationery order. We know that it is hard to visualize how an idea will look until you see it complete. We will revise your prototype up to three times after the initial consultation at no charge. After your third change, there will be an additional minimum $25.00 fee to produce extra prototypes.
What are my options for shipping?
Your order will be shipped via UPS Ground unless specified otherwise by you at checkout. The shipping total will be calculated at checkout as well.
Can I cancel my order?
Cancellations received prior to the approval of proofs will forfeit 50% of the total order. We apologize, but we cannot accept cancellations after proofs have been approved.
Do you have a print catalog I can receive by mail?
We do not offer a complete print catalog at this time. Our website is the best source to see what designs we have available.
Can I order a sample?
We will mail you a sample of one of our designs for the cost listed per invitation. Simply fill in 1 for the quantity and proceed to the checkout with your order.
Do you have a retail store that I can visit in person?
